Synagogue Ruins in Zefat Art Gallery
In the early Eighteen Hundreds a group of Jews came to Zefat from Lvov. They built the Magrave shul (synagogue). and by the late Eighteen Hundreds it had been destroyed by 2 earthquakes. Only one wall remained of the shul, and the congregation dispersed. The one wall is still there (in 2024), the only memorial to the congregation that was there.
This is based on a photograph that I took in 2021, when I lived 20 meters from this place.
